Hi Everyone, 2025 is 1/2 over already and your committees have been busy! We are still working on getting all our technology programs and bookkeeping numbers together with the change of the new management. Those tasks have been filling up my hours and I won't go into all the details. Our volunteers have seen to it that we are living up to the three main focuses of our association: Legislative review and detection, education opportunities and networking with other escrow practitioners. Legislative Update Dancing in the Dark With apologies to Bruce Springsteen, whose 1984 song title echoed a proverb from many centuries prior, in this context we are not talking about songwriting, but instead about toiling in the dark on the far more mundane task of writing a state budget for California.
